Biomass Dryers
Our biomass dryer systems don't rely on conventional technology which requires large amounts of heat and energy to reduce the moisture content of biomass. Traditional designs heat biomass to high temperatures to vaporize water and then expel it, our dries use a modern chain-flail system which is able to knock water out of the biomass at high speeds ("Flash-dry") reducing the water content as well as the size of the biomass particle requiring only moderate heat input.
This concept uses less energy and also achieves a particle size reduction which on other systems would require a separate grinding process to alter the biomass before it can be used. Particles can be up to 5 cm wide and still achieve a reduction to approximately 5 mm.
The dryer systems can be automated requiring minimal operation intervention, biomass is loaded every 8 to 10 hours and the unit is allowed to run. The final product is collected in bins and stored until needed.
